The Customer Service Representative will serve as the primary point of contact for daily business with a select group of customers. Focus will be on order processing and contract review to contribute to exceeding on-time delivery and customer satisfaction goals.
Be the primary point of contact for select customers with regards to order processing and entry, contract review, parts availability, return of defective goods (RMA), expediting, open order reports, etc.
Perform regular data entry and maintenance regarding orders.
Serve as an advocate for the customer while participating in internal order status reviews.
Identify process issues and participate in the development and implementation of process improvements.
Own and resolve customer account issues to complete resolution.
Provide timely and accurate answers to contribute to on-time delivery to customers.
Make use of problem solving/decision making skills to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction and prioritizing customer orders when necessary for production.
Present a positive impression of the company through timely professional responses and a positive, cheerful “can-do” tone in all communications to customers and fellow employees.
Works closely with production planner, engineering, purchasing, quality, production and shipping departments.
Initiates quote requests, updated quotes and PCNs for new revisions, and APQP forms for new part numbers.
Experienced computer user – MS Office suite, Outlook and ERP systems (SAP, Epicor, etc.)
Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
Able to juggle multiple customers/tasks at one time
Able to work with and through other functional areas to serve the customer
Detailed, accurate and able to set priorities among competing demands
Proactive self-starter, dependable and efficient

Hiring range is: $30,000 - $37,500
